Red Sox left fielder Jason Bay has long played America’s pastime and will now be able to call himself an American. The 30-year-old player from Canada becomes a U.S. citizen Thursday afternoon in a ceremony at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall.

John Henry’s wedding causes a stir (WBZ News Radio Boston)

The owner of the Boston Red Sox got hitched last weekend, and everybody knew about it.  John Henry’s guest list included 400 names, many of them high-profile.  Transportation commissioner Tom Timlin said that’s exactly why they blocked off streets around Fenway Park.
